New Testament theology is a study of the broad themes contained in the New Testament. From the Pauline epistles, the Synoptic Gospels and the Book of Acts, John's writings, and the General Epistles, the student will gain a working knowledge of major doctrines of the Christian faith.

This course is a concentrated study of the biblical book of Jeremiah.  You will not only learn about the man, but you will learn about the message.  He treats issues that are timeless.  His treatments of God's prophets, idolatry, struggles and hardships for the man of God, and the difficulties of obedience transcend all cultures, generations, and languages.  The relevance is as if Jeremiah wrote just for us today.

This course is a directed study of the actual book itself, not a theology of eschatology.  God expects this book to be read, heard, and understood.  You will study also its context and message for the original readers along with its relevance for Christians today.

How to Understand the Bible

An introduction to the doctrinal, historical, and literary nature of the Bible and other general questions involved in reading the Bible with understanding. The course also deals with the authority, purpose, and message of the Bible; the history reflected in the Old Testament; and principles of biblical interpretation.

History of Christianity

Evangelism

PM 0255 Evangelism (This 2 semester-hours course is formatted to run in a half-semester term of 7 weeks) A study of the biblical basis for evangelism and how to witness; includes practical application. It combines a church program for evangelism and a program for personal witnessing. A non-ACE course for two semester hours of credit.
